 riends of Lavenham Airfield invite you to a day celebrating the legacy of 
 the 487th Bomb Group who were based in Lavenham during World War 2.\n\nThe
  Rector will dedicate this morning’s church service to the theme of ‘T
 hanksgiving’ before we all head to the Airfield for mid-day to re-dedica
 te the memorial and hear the names of the 233 men who lost their lives bei
 ng read.\n\nThis year marks the 80th anniversary since the end of World Wa
 r Two so it is an important time to give thanks.\n\nFamilies of veteran Ai
 rmen will join us from the USA\, so do bring a picnic and help us remember
